Warbotics

Warbotics is a top down shooter with 1v1 and 2v2 modes.  Players play as either Botics (corporate robots gone rogue) or the human resistance.  Players fight across 5 unique arenas in a tug of war over who can reach the other team’s base first and win the match!

Warbotics was my senior project and, at the time, an opportunity to stretch my skills and learn new things.  I served as programmer and primary weapons designer for the game.  I also assisted with making shaders when needed.  Over the course of the project I got to wrestle with camera angles that needed to work over a variety of levels and design an AI in just over 4 months (alongside bug fixing and new feature implementation) that provided some challenge to a human player.
